Caitie
Caitie, Natalie's sister, is a devoted stay-at-home mom and the heart behind a small quilt business, where she channels her creativity and love for detail into every stitch. Calm in chaos and naturally organized, she brings a steady, compassionate presence to everything she does. As Natalie’s older sister, her connection to the mission of this organization is deeply personal. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges Natalie faced after leaving a residential program, she is driven to support others navigating similar experiences and to raise awareness about the heightened risks individuals face during recovery. Through her efforts to create the foundation and her role on the board, she hopes to honor her sister’s memory, share insight into who Natalie was, and help build a community rooted in empathy and understanding. Outside of her advocacy work, she enjoys sewing and quilting, spending time with her family, reading thrillers and mysteries, and camping. She lives by a favorite quote from J.R.R. Tolkien: “It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love.”

Dana
Dana is a compassionate therapist with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College. She currently works in a treatment facility, where she supports individuals working to rebuild their lives after addiction and other challenges. Through her work, she has seen the life-changing progress that can occur in residential treatment, but also the painful reality that many are forced to return to unsafe environments due to lack of resources or support. Her heart is deeply invested in helping those who truly believe “this time is different” find the opportunity and stability they need to move forward with hope.
Her connection to the Love Like Nat Foundation is profoundly personal. Natalie was a bright light in her life—radiating strength, gratitude, empathy, and unwavering love for God and others, even through her darkest moments. From deep late-night conversations to shared songs and laughter, Natalie left a lasting imprint on her heart. Though she misses her daily, she is determined to honor Natalie’s legacy by turning heartbreak into healing and purpose.
Outside of her professional work, Dana enjoys spending time outdoors, expressing herself through art, and sharing life’s adventures with her two children, Houston and Bo. She is also passionately planning her future private practice and therapy retreat center, where she hopes to create a space for restoration and growth. Guided by her life verse, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others” (1 Peter 4:10), she strives to serve with compassion, purpose, and grace in all she does.
Missy
Missy serves as the Accounting & Finance Specialist at Loren Wood Builders, bringing over 20 years of experience in financial management to her role. With a diverse background that also includes marketing and administration, she is a Nationally Certified Guardian (NCG) with a decade of experience supporting adults who have no other willing or suitable advocate. Deeply committed to compassionate service, she joined the Love Like Nat Foundation board to help others overcome challenges and find hope in the next steps of their journey. Her expertise in finance, bookkeeping, grant writing, and marketing strengthens the organization’s foundation as it grows and fulfills its mission.
A natural encourager and “cheerleader at heart,” she is passionate about uplifting others and ensuring that every individual who comes to the foundation feels supported and seen. A graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Business Administration, she is also a trained End of Life Doula, dedicated to honoring every stage of life with meaning and care. Outside of her professional and volunteer work, she enjoys walking, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing on the beach. She lives by the words of William James: “Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.”

Lesley
Lesley is a dedicated school counselor at Eastern Greene Middle School, where she supports students in grades 5–8 with care, encouragement, and guidance. With more than 17 years of experience in the mental health and social work field, Lesley has served in a variety of roles—from her early work as a case manager with the Indiana Department of Child Services to her current and most cherished role helping young people discover their hope, purpose, and confidence.
Lesley was inspired to join the Love Like Nat Foundation because of Natalie herself—the light she carried, the kindness she shared, and the way she made others feel seen and valued. Having witnessed the effects of mental health and addiction within her own family, Lesley is passionate about continuing these conversations and supporting others on their healing journeys. She believes in the power of compassion, connection, and community to bring light into even the darkest moments, and she is honored to help carry forward Natalie’s legacy of love and hope.
Lesley holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master’s of Education in Counseling and Counseling Psychology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Outside of work, she treasures time with her husband, Lane, and their three daughters—Eleanor, Molly, and Maren. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, traveling, and sharing cozy game nights filled with laughter. Guided by her favorite verse, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Joseph
Joe works in quality assurance and compliance for behavioral-health and recovery centers and serves as a certified addictions counselor and group facilitator, specializing in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and expressive writing. With a Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, Joe brings a uniquely multidisciplinary background that bridges law, education, and behavioral health. Certified as a teacher, mediator, and addictions counselor, Joe integrates structure, empathy, and accountability to support individuals and organizations in fostering lasting recovery.
Having witnessed firsthand the vital role of connection and continuity after treatment, Joe was drawn to the mission of the Love Like Nat Foundation. The organization’s commitment to bridging the gap between treatment and long-term recovery deeply aligns with both Joe’s professional experience and personal journey. Through his work on the board, Joe hopes to strengthen systems of aftercare, expand outreach, and ensure the Foundation’s programs offer both practical resources and emotional support for those rebuilding their lives.
Outside of professional and advocacy work, Joe is a poet and author of Unstuck: Unlocking Your Best Life. They also enjoy creative home remodeling projects that combine design, craftsmanship, and self-expression. Guided by the words of Johann Hari—“The opposite of addiction is not sobriety. The opposite of addiction is connection.”—Joe continues to live out a purpose rooted in compassion, creativity, and community.

Trinity
Trinity lives in West Virginia with her husband and their one-year-old son, whom she stays home with full time. She brings to the Love Like Nat Foundation a deep personal connection to its mission and an enduring love for Natalie, whom she grew up alongside. Trinity has been best friends with Natalie’s sister, Caitie, since childhood, and some of her earliest memories include the three of them running around the old Fayetteville gym together. To Trinity, Natalie was like a little sister—curious, wise beyond her years, and full of light. Her outlook on life, her humor, and her heart left a lasting impression that continues to shape how Trinity moves through the world today.
With a background in paralegal studies and philosophy, Trinity is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in research and writing. She enjoys editing and proofreading, bringing precision and creativity to her work. Guided by empathy and persistence, she is passionate about helping the Foundation carry on Natalie’s legacy by offering compassion, understanding, and practical support to those facing mental health or addiction challenges.
Outside of her work with the Foundation, Trinity enjoys reading, writing, embroidery, hiking, camping, and spending time with family and friends. She finds inspiration in a quote from The Grapes of Wrath: “If you're in trouble or hurt or need — go to poor people.” To her, empathy is both a guiding principle and a responsibility—one that Natalie embodied effortlessly and that she strives to nurture and live out every day.

Morgan
Morgan is a Mental Health Clinician at a treatment facility, where she provides compassionate care to individuals navigating addiction and mental health challenges. Over the past five years, she has worked in various roles within addiction services and behavioral health, gaining a deep understanding of how addiction impacts individuals and families from all walks of life. Her approach is rooted in empathy, trauma-informed care, and a desire to help others rediscover hope and purpose. Drawn to the mission of the Love Like Nat Foundation, Morgan brings both professional expertise and heartfelt conviction to her role on the board. She is passionate about removing barriers to continued care, ensuring that those who feel the urgency and hope of knowing this time is different are met with opportunity, not obstacles. She hopes to carry forward Natalie’s legacy of love and grace—though she did not know Nat personally, she has been profoundly touched by her story and by the compassion and unconditional love poured out to her shown by those who love Nat most.
Morgan studied Psychology and Human Services at Endicott College in Massachusetts and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grace College in Indiana. Originally from New England, she enjoys the mountains and will take all of the time she can get outdoors. Lately, she can be found exploring her new home in the Midwest, and savoring a good cup of coffee. Guided by the words of Micah 7:8—“Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.”—she believes deeply in resilience, redemption, and the light that can emerge from even the darkest places.

Sarah
Sarah is a stay-at-home mom and full-time student at Indiana University, where she is completing her bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Technical Editing and Writing. With a love for creativity, communication, and meaningful storytelling, she brings both passion and purpose to her role on the Love Like Nat Foundation board.
Her desire to serve is deeply rooted in her love for Natalie, whose heart for others—especially those battling their own demons—left a lasting impact. She joined the board to help ensure that Nat’s light continues to shine brightly and that the compassion Nat carried for people facing addiction is reflected in the work of the foundation. The mission resonates strongly with her, particularly the commitment to offering hope, support, and resources to individuals fighting to make it to the other side of recovery. She believes wholeheartedly that Natalie would be proud to see an organization dedicated to lifting others up in the very ways she always tried to.
Outside of her studies and board involvement, she enjoys party planning, creative writing—currently working on her first book—and crafting of all kinds. With a blend of creativity, empathy, and dedication, she is honored to help carry forward a mission that reflects the love and legacy of someone who changed her life forever.
